Introducing Sample / Sample a response to the D&AD Arjowiggins Paper brief, in partnership with Sony Music. The brief was focused on connecting paper to the digital world. Our response was creating a uniquely crafted paper sleeve containing a paper sample that would be sent to Sony Music customers, allowing the customer to receive a music sample of that track before anyone else and download to their playlist. Using an app and website service to create the complete user experience.
By sending a paper sample to Sony Music customers, this would show them how much they were valued. Once the paper sample containing the colour circle is scanned digitally using the app, it unlocks a 20 second music sample of that specific track. Where the video is crafted to move to the rhythm and beat of the song. Thus enabling the user to download this track immediately to their playlist. Allowing the receiver to connect the physicality of paper in an ever increasing digital world.
